How URL credits work
It is simple: one page scanned uses one credit. A scan of 400 pages uses 400 credits. All the sites in your workspace share the same credits, and they are used in this order:

First, your monthly credits
You get fresh credits every month: 500 on Free up to 125,000 on Pro. They reset each month, and unused ones do not carry over.

Then, credits you bought
Need more? Buy 1,000 credits for $9, 5,000 for $39 or 10,000 for $69. Bought credits never expire.

Last, credits from our team
Any credits our support team adds for you are used last. The Billing screen shows every balance.

Link and image checks do not use credits
Checking whether links to other sites and images still load has its own monthly allowance: 50,000 on Hobby, 250,000 on Basic and 1,000,000 on Pro. It is not included on Free.

Free is the real product with smaller limits: one site, one person, 500 pages a month and 30 days of history. No card and no time limit. Paid tiers raise the limits and add scheduled scans, scan comparison and the last six checks.

Free runs 181 of the 202 checks on every page. The six it skips (broken external links, broken images and Core Web Vitals) start on Hobby.
A report for every page
Every page gets its own report: title, description, headings, links, images and structured data, plus every problem on it.
A health score out of 100
One score for your site, and a to-do list with the biggest problems first. Each problem shows its pages and how to fix it.

Do I need a card to start?
No. Free needs no card and has no time limit. You only add a card when you choose a paid tier.
What counts as a URL credit?
One page scanned is one URL credit, so a scan of 400 pages uses 400 credits. A page costs one credit even with JavaScript rendering. Credits are shared by every site in your workspace. There is no extra charge per site or per team member.
What is the difference between URL credits and pages per scan?
URL credits are your monthly total across all your sites. Pages per scan is the most one scan can cover. For example, Basic gives you 20,000 credits a month, and one scan can cover up to 10,000 pages.
What happens if I run out of credits?
PixyScan warns you before a scan starts. If credits run out part-way, the scan keeps the pages it paid for and skips the rest. You can buy more credits straight away or wait for next month's credits.
Do unused credits carry over?
Monthly credits reset each billing period, so unused ones are lost. Credits you buy are different: they never expire.
What are link and image checks?
They test whether links to other sites and your images still load. They have their own monthly allowance and do not use URL credits: 50,000 on Hobby, 250,000 on Basic and 1,000,000 on Pro. They are not included on Free.
Which one should I choose?
Try Free first. Pick Hobby for one or two sites checked on a schedule, Basic for small teams checking before each release, and Pro for agencies or big or JavaScript-heavy sites. Talk to us about Enterprise if you need custom limits.
Is paying yearly cheaper?
Yes. On every paid tier, a year costs the same as ten months: two months free, about 17% off. For example, Basic is $39 a month or $390 a year.
Can I upgrade or downgrade later?
Yes. An upgrade starts straight away, and what you have not used yet counts towards the new price. To downgrade, contact support. It starts at the end of the period you paid for, once your sites and team fit the smaller limits.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, with no fee and no notice period. Everything keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. After that your workspace is locked: your sites, scans and reports stay readable, but new scans cannot start. Your data is kept until its history period ends.
Do you give refunds?
Payments are final, so we do not refund unused time or unused credits. We do refund you if you were charged by mistake, charged twice or charged after cancelling. Your legal rights where you live are not affected.
Is Free really free forever?
Yes. Free has no time limit. It covers one site, one person, 500 pages a month, 181 of the 202 checks and 30 days of history. Each account can have one free workspace.
